INFO ABOUT MYSELF
Hello and welcome! My name is Alex Kochan and I am a prospective educator located in Southeast Michigan. When I'm not busy teaching, I usually find myself writing or drawing. otherwise, I'm up to my neck in unfinished philosophy books I've yet to get through. With all that built up energy sitting still, I play hockey or ice skate with my friends. On weekends, I tend to end up at the Detroit Institute of Arts when I go out, or making art with my friends at home.

What it Means to Learn
Learning is more than rote memorization; it's a journey of discovery and growth. In my classroom, learning is collaborative, with students exchanging ideas and co-creating knowledge. It's about fostering a sense of belonging and resilience, where failure is seen as a stepping stone to success.
